It is recommended that the City Council take the following actions:

 

1)                     Approve extension to the agreement with R3 Consulting Group, Inc. through June 30, 2024 to finalize tasks related to the transition of the City’s municipal residential collection operation and consolidation of its commercial operations to the exclusive hauler, Athens Services, and completion of activities related to the implementation of SB 1383; and

 

2)                     Authorize the City Manager, or designee, to execute the amendment subject to review by the City Attorney.
