Title: Ratification of contract overruns and approval of a new agreement with Red Wing Shoes for the employee safety footwear voucher program It is recommended that the City Council take the following actions: Ratify, pursuant to Pomona City Code Section 2-984, the contract overruns incurred under the existing Red Wing Shoes Agreement; and Authorize the continued use of the existing Red Wing Shoes Agreement through its current term ending December 31, 2026, including the exercise of up to two additional one-year extension options, through December 31, 2028, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the existing agreement and subject to available budget appropriations. Authorize the City Manager or designee to execute the extensions or amendments on behalf of the City.

Ratification of contract overruns and approval of a new agreement with Red Wing Shoes for the employee safety footwear voucher program

It is recommended that the City Council take the following actions:

 

1)                     Ratify, pursuant to Pomona City Code Section 2-984, the contract overruns incurred under the existing Red Wing Shoes Agreement; and

 

2)                     Authorize the continued use of the existing Red Wing Shoes Agreement through its current term ending December 31, 2026, including the exercise of up to two additional one-year extension options, through December 31, 2028, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the existing agreement and subject to available budget appropriations.

 

3)                     Authorize the City Manager or designee to execute the extensions or amendments on behalf of the City.
