PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Major Certificate of Appropriateness to allow the demolition of three (3) structures with estimated construction dates between the 1890s - 1940s. Pursuant to the Guidelines for Implementation of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), an Initial Study and a Mitigated Negative Declaration were prepared consistent with CEQA Section 15070 to assess the potential effects of this project on the environment. The study determined that all potential environmental effects could be reduced to less than significant levels with appropriate mitigation measures.
Recommendation:
Staff recommends that the Historic Preservation Commission adopt the attached resolution (Attachment1) approving Major Certificate of Appropriateness (MAJCOA 7490-2017), subject to conditions.
